Our Purpose is to provide accommodation for people moving into London for the first time to study or work.
Along with people from all over the British Isles we have a large proportion of overseas residents with around 20 different nationalities represented at any one time.
We are owned and managed by the Methodist Church. Through the Christian faith of our staff and management team we aim to provide a safe and caring house for all our residents.
We accept people of all faiths and none, though residents are expected to be sympathetic to the House’s Christian principles.
Our residents fall in the age range of 18 - 25, a few are younger (they start their degrees before their 18th birthday) and a few are older (full time post graduates).
Although we have an upper age limit of 25, exceptions may be made to this on a case by case basis, for those wishing en-suite accommodation, post graduate students or short stay guests.
If you are above our age range you may only be offered en-suite accommodation for the duration of your stay here.
4 of the 5 bedroom floors are single sex, 2 of these are designated quiet floors.
We do not have a 51 week contract, accommodation can be booked for any length of stay however priority during September/ October will be given to people seeking longer term accommodation (September - June).
The house is managed daily by a team of residential staff who are available to give residents assistance, advice and deal with any emergencies.
