A retreat weekend for those people who want an opportunity to reflect on the Lord�s calling on their lives, following the disappointment of the outcome of the Methodist Church Candidates Selection Committee.

The aim of the weekend is to provide:
space - where your feelings can be expressed
affirmation - God still regards you and has a place for you

challenge - to hope and to move on

It will include:

�	an opportunity to share your story in various ways - in a small group, individually, without words.

�	some bible study - reflection on God who 'weaves together all for good', a God 'who believes in us'.

�	quiet time to listen to God and be in touch with the inner self in God's company.

�	worship together focussed on praise and thanksgiving, recognising this may be tough.

�	time to be encouraged by, and supportive of, each other.

�	opportunity to use the grounds and gardens on the site, weather permitting!

When:
Friday 5th - Sunday 7th December 2008

Leaders:
As well as the Centre Team, it is hoped that past members of the Centre's Foundation programme will also be available during the weekend.

Time:
The weekend begins at 6pm on Friday although you are welcome to arrive anytime after 4pm, for refreshments and to settle in, and ends after lunch on Sunday.

Cost:
The weekend is without cost (except travel costs) to those who attend, as it is sponsored by the Formation in Ministry Office, Methodist Church House.
