Mark Wakelin Director of the Guy Chester Centre. He is a Methodist Minister who has been involved in both circuit ministry and as national secretary of the Methodist Church’s youth service MAYC. His current research at the London Institute of Education brings together both his theological and his educational training.
Sr Anne Marie Farrell An experienced retreat leader and spiritual accompanist in the Ignatian tradition. She is a sister in the international order of Marie Auxiliatrice and has held a wide number of roles within that organisation from teacher in a large Comprehensive school to Director of the Order and most recently part of the youth team in Dublin. She is widely involved as a consultant to a number of apostolic Religious Congregations in Europe and America.
Morfa Jones A trained teacher with experience of living in a lay Christian community as part of the Lee Abbey Community. She is now an integral part of the Centre team involved in leading worship, retreats and offering individual support within the Centre’s programme. She is also the programme administrator.
Liz Gamble A self-employed counsellor and trainer, working in private practice and a number of charitable organisations. She is particularly interested in the interface between counselling and pastoral care, which informs her work at GCC. Liz also runs courses for local churches in pastoral care and can offer guidance on how to set up and train teams.
Helen Muller A psychoanalytic psychotherapist and also a family therapist. She is particularly interested in organisational consultancy. In addition to her work in the NHS she runs a private practice in North London. Her experience in the church includes 10 years as a full-time lay worker responsible for shaping community and adult education programmes in an inner-city circuit.
